Pre-Owned Sales Manager
Jerry Pate Turf & Irrigation is seeking a candidate to work with our team as our Pre-Owned Sales Manager in the Atlanta office. This position shares responsibility for achieving maximum sales and profitability for the Pre-Owned department, which is achieved through strategic and tactical management of processes and procedures.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Managing Sales and Gross Profit
- Strategic Planning
- Supporting Account Executives to meet or exceed pre-owned revenue objectives
- Manage our Pre-Owned Sales and Turf Rental Coordinator
- Evaluate and oversee Trade-in values
- Complete Customer Equipment Proposals
- Conduct Retail Price Analysis
- Procurement of Assets for Pre-Owned and Rental Departments
- Work closely with Vendors and Finance Partners
- Maintain Sales reports
- Website maintenance related to pre-owned and rental
- Creating Marketing Material to expand Pre-Owned Brand
- Direct Sales responsibility outside JPC territory, including International opportunities
- Sales lead Follow-up
- Attend and aid in planning of related Trade Shows
Preferred Competencies, Qualifications, and Skills are:
- Successful Sales Management Background
- Knowledge of basic equipment service and related systems
- Proven success in the Golf or Landscape Industry
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneDrive
- Positive, energetic, creative personality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in an office environment, with a collaborative attitude
- Ability and willingness for out of town and overnight travel, via airplane or other medium
- Leadership capabilities
- College Degree Preferred
- Work in office, on site
