The Human Resource Assistant Director is responsible for assisting the Director of Human Resources and Vice President, Atlanta Operations with the administration of the day-to-day efficient operation of the Human Resources department and the management of the most important asset of Jerry Pate Company, its team members.  The Human Resource Assistant Director assists with the implementation of services, policies, and programs within the HR department with Jerry Pate Turf & Irrigation, as well as Century Equipment, A Jerry Pate Company.  This position contributes to the accomplishment of Human Resource practices and objectives that will provide a high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. 

• Must have a positive, energetic, creative personality with the experience and desire to get the job done. 
• Bachelors or equivalent degree.  Minimum 3 years Human Resource experience, or equivalent.
• Able to exhibit an elevated level of confidentiality.
• Knowledge of various and applicable state and federal laws governing business.
• Experience in planning processes, and expense budget management.
• Possess strong human resource management skills: hiring, retention, motivation, coaching, problem solving, training and termination.
• Collaborative attitude, eager to work with 200 plus team members in a professional and efficient manner.
• Possess the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Possess a strong desire for personal and professional development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, organization, and time-management skills.
• Proficient use of MC Office 365, including Microsoft Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.
