Golf Irrigation Sales Coordinator

Job Summary:  The Golf Irrigation Sales Coordinator collaborates with the Golf Irrigation Operations Manager and others in the Golf Irrigation Team on the day-to-day operations for the Golf Irrigation Sales Department. This position is the liaison between IPS, CIG, and external customers. This position works with the sales team on order entry, schedules, and product logistics to ensure orders meet required timelines.  The Golf Irrigation Sales Coordinator contributes to overall customer satisfaction by planning to minimize downtime, communicating to customers and internal personnel to meet customer expectations.

Primary Duties:
  1. Primarily responsible for Golf Irrigation order entry. To be done in support of external customers, IPS, and CIG Account Executives.
  2. Complete and invoice customer pay and internal Sales Orders (SO’s).  Review and complete all warranty SO’s and vendor warranty claims.  Review open SO and Quote reports weekly.
  3. Assist with the warranty process for irrigation service claims (dispatch, repair, vendor claim).
  4. Order/Transfer all approved product for customer sales.
  5. Assist in parts lookup and sourcing for irrigation, and coordinate and track product deliveries to customers.
  6. Communicate and track customer product orders to meet the customer requested and/or promised ship dates.
  7. Work with manufacturers to resolve any technical issues, approvals, open cases, and document on SO.   Ensure all warranty parts are handled according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  8. Communicate clear and concise information to the customer about SO and customer expectations during consultation with IPS AE or CIG. Proactively notify customers of any changes on the promised date.
  9. Communicate with the irrigation specialist inventory purchase status and delays in inventory availability.
  10. Provide technical support for customers.
  11. Participate in weekly and quarterly meetings with the irrigation team to communicate issues on inventory, delivery, projects, customer support, new products, and other sales and marketing needs.
  12. Work effectively with all JPC/Century groups to create one company to the customers.
  13. Assist Director of Irrigation and Golf Irrigation Operations Manager in planning and developing strategies to improve market share, customer relations, efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  14. Assist in irrigation product research and pricing.
  15. Assist with technicians in service quote entry, and product look up.
  16. Purchase and return of all PCB boards offered through the Toro Board Exchange Program.
  17. All other tasks assigned.
