Design Associate-Jerry Pate Design

Jerry Pate Design, Inc. (JPD) is a professional design firm that provides complete golf course architecture and landscape architecture services. Project types include, but are not limited to, golf courses, parks, corporate campuses, single and multi-family residential projects, commercial properties, recreational facilities, and streetscapes.

The Design Associate has the overall responsibility for design assistance and plan document production for JPD.  The Design Associate shall develop an understanding of JPD’s design philosophy and competency in landscape architecture as it pertains to JPD projects and health, safety and welfare issues.  The Design Associate is responsible for supporting the Senior Design Associate and other Design Associates in the day-to-day performance and operation of the firm.

Required Competencies, Qualifications, and Skills

2. Positive, energetic, creative personality. Independently motivated work ethic.
3. Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, horticulture, etc., or an equivalent combination of education and technical/professional experience.
4. Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite programs, SketchUp, etc.
5. Demonstrated creative and persuasive problem-solving skills.
