The Atlanta Service and Warehouse Apprentice is an entry level position in our Atlanta facility that works within the service department and warehouse operations. The Apprentice will be trained in the craft and trade skills of an equipment service technician performing minor mechanical repairs, set-ups, and maintenance work on commercial and contractor equipment in a shop environment. Service training and Toro® Systems Certification is administered to help ensure customer satisfaction by making sure equipment is fixed right the first time, and the repairs completed efficiently and when promised.
In addition, this position will be trained in learning many skills in warehousing and distribution, including forklift certification, safety training, inventory, cycle counting, shipping and receiving, and pulling parts for service orders. This position assists the Atlanta Service Manager and Warehouse Manager in a collaborative manner across the service, warehousing, sales, and office team.
