erry Pate Company is the leading commercial golf and grounds equipment distributor in the Southeast. We are seeking an experienced CDL Delivery Driver to join our Birmingham Team. This position will perform pick up and delivery of commercial golf and turf equipment, as well as irrigation product, to customer locations. Duties include, but are not limited to, pre-delivery and pick-up inspections on product, adherence to all company and DOT safety regulations and standards, timely delivery of product, loading and unloading equipment on and off flat-bed trailer, and assisting with warehouse and shop duties as necessary. Driver will be responsible for delivery vehicle maintenance, schedule, driver’s logs and records, and maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
Location: The ideal candidate should be located in Birmingham or the surrounding areas.
Experience: 2 year’s experience operating a tractor & trailer combination.

Requirements: Candidate must possess a valid CDL driver’s license with clean motor vehicle record, paired with the ability to pull a trailer, operate, load and secure equipment. Some overnight travel will be required, but occurrences are limited. Experience with flat-bed trailers and motorized equipment preferred.
Schedule: Monday – Friday , No weekends.
