JERRY PATE TURF & IRRIGATION WINS THE “GOLD LEVEL OF EXCELLENCE” AWARD
Jerry Pate Turf & Irrigation has won the “Gold Level of Excellence” award recognizing the highest level of achievement for sales, parts, and service to Golf and Grounds, Irrigation and Dealer customers for 2011.
The Toro Company also awarded Jerry Pate Turf & Irrigation “Dealer Distributor of the Year” for the third consecutive year. This is the first time in The Toro Company’s history that any distributor has achieved this honor. This award recognizes achievements in customer service, sales, service support, equipment, parts fill rates and market share of Toro products to over 400 dealers.
With over 120 associates, Jerry Pate Turf & Irrigation distributes Toro and other premium brand products to landscape contractors, golf courses, government and municipalities, educational institutions, sports recreational complexes and private industries throughout Arkansas, Louisiana, West Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Northwest Florida.

LOUISVILLE, KY. – ECHO Incorporated, a leading manufacturer of professional-grade, high-performance outdoor power equipment for commercial and residential use, recently named Pensacola, Fla.-based Jerry Pate Turf & Irrigation.
The award was presented during ECHO’s annual North American distributor meeting in New York, N.Y. Sales and marketing representatives from ECHO’s ten North American distributors attended the awards ceremony.
As the highest honor given by ECHO Inc. to its distributors, the Distributor of the Year award recognizes overall sales, marketing, service and operational excellence involving the ECHO, Shindaiwa and ECHO Bear Cat brands.

Two Jerry Pate Turf & Irrigation salesmen were recognized for excellence at the Toro Dealer National Sales Meeting.
David Victory
David Victory received the New Horizon Award….this award is presented by the Toro Company to a new sales rep that has been on board the last 12-18 months and has excelled in sales growth, adding quality new dealers and being a valued business partner with dealers. David was the only salesman out of 5 nominations in the country, to be recognized.
David has been in the industry for 26+ years and calling on dealers in the Western Tenn. and North MS markets. The dealers respect David and what he has done for them, when asking dealers to comment about David, you will hear the words, integrity, honest, caring and a desire to see them succeed. David has shown he is a shining star by already exceeding all of 2009 sales volume with a couple months left to go in 2010. He also is demonstrating Master Salesperson skills, by completing in-depth daily call reports, giving quarterly sales plan status to management and discussing business strategies with the dealers.
Chad Draiss
Chad received one of the coveted Toro blazers, these are awarded to the very best of sales reps in sales goal achievements. Chad has also won the Master Salesman award in 2004. Chad is held in high regards with the Toro Company as he was asked to present in front of his peers at this year’s meeting. He presented some of his key successes of merchandising, and he received numerous accolades after his seminar. He was the one of 6 in the country to be recognized out of 10 nominations.
Chad exemplifies what a blazer winner is about…. consistent sales growth, valued business partner with his dealers, integrity, passion and drive to be the best by helping dealers in all aspects of their business; training, goal setting, merchandising, etc. One of the largest dealers, Dixie Auto has always appreciated Chad and what he has done for his business, Bill has always commented he is the best rep that calls on me...period. I have heard numerous comments similar to this from many other dealers Chad works with. Chad has their confidence and trust and that is one reason for his success for sure. Chad has that valuable partnership that dealers look for in a sales rep. He represents Toro as a true professional, Chad fills out complete daily call reports, presents quarterly sales plan updates to management, has business conversations with dealers on how we can grow and they both work together as partners to develop strategic plans to move the business forward.
